General

1. This rpg now requires that you write a minimum of 250 words. A sentence is not: "He talked." Make it detailed. There is a word counter below the c-box for your use and a newly added code! Thank you Jade for suggesting it!

2. Keep debatable topics to a minimum please.

3. You may have as many characters as you want, just keep them active please.

4. You don't have to love each other or be best friends, but let's try not to start any arguments.

5. Swearing is allowed, just keep it reasonable IC. That does not mean you're allowed to swear at anybody OC.

6. No sexual content whatsoever on this game. If you want to play that out, do it somewhere else, not here. If you want to have a child, just pm a staff member.

7. Respect the staff members. I'm sad I have to have this rule. ;-;

8. We have a warning system but please, please, please don't make us use it. We don't like to be mean.

9. Please don't make your signatures so big they stretch the page. If you do, you'll be asked to modify it.

10. No Godmoding or Powerplaying please (unless you've been given permission to do so). Godmoding is when your character is invincible and no one can touch you. An example would be something such as:

Bob tried to hit Sam.
Sam dodged
Bob tried to punch Sam
Sam was hit but wasn't hurt

Powerplaying is when you control the other players character. Such as:

Bob punched Sam and Sam died.

Okay, luffs? It doesn't make the game any fun if this goes on.

11. DO NOT ask for staff positions. I will assign them to whom I deem responsible and able.

Warning System/Punishments

1. Here, we have a very low tolerance of offenses. We understand if there is a misunderstanding and a small argument but here are some guidelines I think will assist you in the ways of Larthen. We are on this type of system:

Strike 1: Okay, just read the rules again: Warning, length depending on offense
Strike 2: Well, you get a warning and a ban of two days
Strike 3: Okay, it's ridiculous: Permanent ban


2.We will not tolerate any type of disrespect that is shown towards staff members, other members, or the site. The warning system above will be used.

3. Arguments that are created on purpose will result in an immediate ban.

4. Sending hate PMs and sorts will result in an immediate ban.

5. Failure to follow rules will result in the use of the system above.


Applications

1. Please fill out the form completely and as we have it. You must wait to be accepted, no arguing with us please. If you don't wait for us to accept you then all of your posts will be deleted.

2. If you have already been accepted once by a staff member with one character, you don't have to wait for us to accept a new character. All you have to do is make sure your application is acceptable and follows the application guidelines.

3. If you want your people to have different color hair or eyes, such a purple, blue, etc. that's fine. Make their skin tone realistic, though, UNLESS it says the color of skin under their race section.

4. Not all characters are perfect. Mary-sues and Gary-stus are not exactly what we're looking for.

5. There will be a maximum of 3 unicorns. Please do not ask to be one.

Royals (everyone read)

1. You don't have to like any royal family members, but you must respect them. You wouldn't just go up to a royal and spit at them, it's a stupid thing to do.

2. If a royal gives you a punishment, the punishment stands. In reality, you aren't going to be able to just say it won't happen. However, if you feel a punishment has been given out unfairly, talk to a staff member and we'll sort things out.

Battling

1. Battling happens whether it is a planned battle or a scrimmage between two characters.

2. Your character is not invincible. Remember reality. A woman isn't going to just easily take down a man. Men are built more physically than women are. That is not sexist, it's the truth.

3. A person who has little battling experience isn't going to beat someone who has years of military experience. Or a five year experience defeating a twenty year experience. It just isn't realistic.

4. A small cut or bruise doesn't count if that is all that happens to you. It's still considered godmoding.
